I found the book of 101 uses for a dead cat much better. Cute book to sit by your toilet for guests, but other than that, it is just something you will read only once. I thought it would be a lot funnier than it was. I think everyone else hypes this book up too much and set it up for disappointment.
Kept me in stitches for several minutes. I just received this great book as a birthday gift. I cannot wait to pick up the sequel and laugh away at that one as well.Felling a little down about the world around you - read this book. For people who have no idea what this book is - it is a cartoon: there is no gore - no graphic violence (except in your mind - YMMV) and yes, it is screamingly funny and clever. What a treat. I especially love the corkscrew suicide.
Free shipping was a definite plus. I got this book for my significant other and it was very cute and funny.
To those they find it offensive, I bet u even find Family Circus funny but "racey". This is funny and wrong in many ways, I am sure no one is going to massacre bunnies but the thought of a cute fluffy creature being suicidal is humorous, all we need next are sex addict turtles, or alcholoic monkeys.
For example, they tend to show the death of the bunny. For some reason, it's completely endearing and hilarious for bunnies to try to commit suicide. People with a dark sense of humor will enjoy this book, and judging from the way it has been out of stock at some bookstores, there are a lot of us out there. This is unfortunate, because the joke is in the reader's mind, trying to figure what the bunny is thinking and how the suicide will work, not showing the reader the gruesome death. Perhaps it's because the ingenious and absurd machines, traps, and situations they put themselves in require a tremendously dark wit, and we don't expect these dandelion munchers to express such cynicism. There are a number of people who try to imitate Andy Riley's bunny suicide comics, and they sometimes come out all wrong.
